Frequently asked questions

Useful information about equipment enquiries, project details and your account.

Before you get started

These answers explain how to use the website. Your project’s availability, specification and commercial details are confirmed through the enquiry.

How do I make an enquiry?

Use the contact page for a general message, or the hire enquiry for a detailed equipment and site brief. Include the task, location and preferred dates.

How do I choose equipment?

Browse the equipment guide and add the relevant items to your enquiry. If you are unsure of the specification, describe the work and site conditions so the requirement can be discussed.

Does selecting equipment reserve it?

No. Selecting items creates an enquiry list. Availability, specifications, pricing and hire arrangements are confirmed separately with EHM.

Can I include transport or operator requirements?

Yes. Include those requirements in your brief, along with site access, collection or delivery locations and preferred timing. The arrangements must be confirmed for the specific enquiry.

What site information is useful?

The project location, access restrictions, ground conditions, working hours and any known loading, offloading or safety requirements are useful details to share.

Where can I find prices and hire terms?

Ask for the commercial details for your particular requirement. This website does not publish fixed prices or represent the equipment guide as live stock availability.

What happens when I download an enquiry?

You receive a text copy of the details you entered. Downloading does not send the enquiry to EHM or confirm a booking. Where online sending has been enabled, the page provides a separate sending action.

What is the Login page for?

The Login page is the doorway to the EHM back office. Access to CRM, documents and website editing depends on the permissions assigned to your WordPress account.

How do I get access or reset my password?

Use the contact page to ask the office about access. Existing users can follow the Forgot password link on the login page to use WordPress’s password recovery process.
